The Arman river rafting tour

TOUR DESCRIPTION:
We start our trip in Magadan and by off-road cars we take you 154 km.(95 miles) to Madown settlement, from there 10 km (6 miles) more to the bridge on the Arman river – the starting point of our rafting tour. The tent camp is set up here for the overnight stop. Next day rafting starts down the Arman river to the point of its confluence with Khetachan stream –the next spot for camping and fishing, usually for 1-2 days.
Here you can fish for arctic grayling either by fishing rod or spinning.
Then we go down the river till the Khalgalin stream (apprx.25km -15miles), stop there for grayling and char fishing.
Overnight in a camp with freshly cooked ukha (fish soup) for dinner.
Next day rafting down the river to the mouth of Turgyrya stream, where we stop for fishing and overnight. In the morning we finish our rafting tour at the bridge, while making stops for fishing along the way.
KOLYMA-TRAVEL conducts all tours using very spacious Zodiac class motor boats equipped with Yamaha engine. Each holds two hunters and two guides
NOTE:

Depending on the water level, weather conditions and presence of fish in the area, our guides in agreement with fishermen can always change the tour program to the more effective and suitable one (rafting-fishing-overnight-day rest can be always adjusted)
Humpback salmon, chum salmon, arctic grayling and many other species can be found in the river during spawning time.
The rafting tour ends at the mouth of the Arman river, where tour group is picked up and taken to Magadan and then to the airport.

The tour package includes:
- meeting our guests at the Magadan airport (50 km-31miles from the city)
- transportation on the off-road cars (Gaz-66, Ural, Kamaz) to the starting point of rafting tour
- rafting and fishing
- accommodation in the camp with 3-time meals service, assistance of our guides and a cook
- provided tourist equipment: rubber boats, tents, life jackets, rugs
- Departure from the final place of rafting by helicopter MI-8
- Meeting of the group at helicopter pad and transportation to the hotel in Magadan
- Transfer to the Magadan Airport
- Obtaining permits for visiting border area, purchasing licenses

RECOMMENDATIONS

We advise our guests to have with them:

- Sleeping bag
- High rubber boots or fishing overalls (waders), raincoat or rain jacket
- Clothes suitable for temperature range 0 to +20 degrees C
- Repellents, protection against mosquitos and black fly (midgets)
- Personal items packed into backpack
- Individual first aid kit
- Fishing equipment (spinning, fishing rod, fishing line, fly line, wobbler, jig, etc.)
